The City of Hudson is located in southern Michigan in Lenawee County. Hudson Police Department is looking for part-time patrol officers to cover all shifts with primary shifts on weekends. All applicants must be MCOLES certifiable at the time of hire.
The department has a 2 hour monthly meet at the beginning of each month for scheduling and training. Officers have the ability to pick their schedules instead of having them assigned. Overtime is paid for any hour over 40 hours a week and for work preformed on Holidays.
The current pay is $21.63 per hour. All duty gear, firearms, and equipment will be provided for except for your work boots. The normal shifts consists of one car / person on duty, however overlap shifts depend on events, details, workload and vacancies caused by vacation / sick time. The department consists of 3 full time officers (including the chief), and part time officers.
