The Police Service Aide (PSA) program is an established part of the Livonia Police Department. This position is an entry level position for those who have had no/little experience in Law Enforcement but wish to become police officers. You become a fully functional member of the Livonia Police Department and you are trained on how to work the Patrol Desk and Lock up. There is a 3-4 month training period where you will be given all the tools/training you need to complete the program successfully.
It is a full time (12 hour shifts) paid position with a full benefit package and starting pay of $36,025 and top pay of $47,902.
