Lawton Police Department: Full-Time Police Officer Closing Date: August 1, 2023

The Village of Lawton is accepting applications for a full time Police Officer position.  The Village has approximately 1900 residents and is a bedroom community in Western Michigan.  The Village has an award-winning school system and a great business community.

BENEFITS:

• Starting hourly wage $20.25 - $24.54 (Negotiable based on qualifications and experience.)

• 401 K - Village will match up to 5%

BASIC REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be 21 years of age at the time of appointment
• Must be MCOLES licensed or licensable
• Must have a valid Michigan Driver's license
• No Felony convictions.  Misdemeanors will be screened on a case by case basis
• Must be a United States citizen
