Village of Cass City: Police Officer-Full Time and Part Time Closing Date: July 28, 2023

The Village of Cass City is accepting applications for a Full Time Police Officer and Part Time Police Officers.  Applicants must conform to employment standards as set by the Michigan Commission on Law Enforcement Standards (MCOLES).

Applicants must be MCOLES certified or certifiable. Must possess good moral character as determined by a thorough background investigation.
Full time salary ranges from $51,517 to $57,636 depending on years of experience. Benefits include: Blue Cross/Blue Shield (MESSA) Health Insurance with vision and dental, MERS retirement (defined contribution: 10% employer/4% employee), ten hour shifts (including a nights shift premium), monthly phone stipend, and eighty hours of Paid Time Off per calendar year increasing with years of service.

Part time salary is $23.41 per hour, night shift premium, monthly phone stipend, and forty hours of Paid Time Off per calendar year.
