Barry Township Police Department is now accepting applications for Police Officers. Position available are for full time.
All applicants must be:
- 21 yrs. or older
- MCOLES licensed or licensable
All applicants must pass the following:
- Psychological examination
- Medical physical
- Drug test
- Criminal back ground investigation
The Prairieville Township Police Department takes pride in the service we provide to our citizens and shall always continue to put community safety and protection first. Our Township Police cover 36.5 Sq. miles of rural farmland, residential homes and businesses that neighbor the cities Plainwell, Orangeville, Hickory Corners, Barry Township and Delton.
The Prairieville Township Police Department partner with the south eastern bordering Counties of Kalamazoo and Allegan along with assisting other law enforcement agencies such as The Barry County Sheriff’s Office and The Michigan State Police.
