The City of Ecorse is accepting applications for the position of police FULL TIME Officer.
Pay: $18.78 (Academy) - $30.16 per hour plus 3% as of July 1, 2023. New hire patrol officers can apply years of service earned from a current or previous law enforcement entity for lateral wages along with a one-time bonus of $1500.00 following successful completion of Field Training Officer (FTO) period.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS include:
Patrolling the City of Ecorse to enforce state and local laws, parking and ordinance enforcement. Traffic, responding to all types of emergency situations, providing assistance to citizens and taking appropriate action as needed.
