Mattawan Police Department: Police Officer (Lateral Transfer Option) Closing Date: September 15, 2023

Our agency has two current full-time positions open. For a licensed officer (lateral transfer) we offer a starting wage of up to $32.86 an hour, with a $5K recruitment incentive. No out-of-pocket expense for the single employee's health insurance. Our community strongly supports us and is experiencing great growth.

We are looking for a licensed, or licensable, candidate for a positions as a Police Officer.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• No Felony or disqualifying conviction.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Able to pass extensive background investigation
• Meet department and village standards.

PAY AND BENEFITS:

• Lateral transfer pay determined by experience and training ($27.56/hr.-$32.86/hr.)
• Licensable starting at $25.97/hr.
• No out-of-pocket expense for health insurance.
• 6% match 401K
