Olivet Police Department: Full-Time Police Officer Closing Date: April 30, 2024

The City of Olivet Police Department is accepting resumes to fill the position of Full-Time Police Officer. This position pays up to $52,000/yr, depending on experience, and offers employer paid health insurance, MERS, paid vacation, paid sick leave and paid holidays. The successful applicant will work 40hrs/per week with occasional overtime, and the Chief of Police may consider reasonable flexibility in scheduling. 

Applicants for this position must be MCOLES licensed or licensable, and be able to pass a comprehensive background, as well as medical and drug testing. Applicants must possess a valid driver’s license with a good driving history, and must be able to perform general police duties, which include, but not limited to, mobile patrol, receiving and investigating complaints, traffic enforcement, and general peace keeping activities. Strong communication skills are a must.
