Beverly Hills Public Safety Department: Public Safety Officer Closing Date: June 13, 2024

Beverly Hills Department of Public Safety is currently accepting applications to fill two immediate vacancies for the position of Public Safety Officer in the Village of Beverly Hills.

A candidate must have the abilities to perform all the duties of a Public Safety Officer which includes both that of a Police Officer and a Firefighter. All applicants must satisfactorily pass oral interviews, a physical exam with drug test, a psychological exam, and a thorough background investigation to be considered for employment. The starting salary is $72,338 with a top pay of $94,819 in four years, plus a benefits package.  We also offer 14 paid holidays and longevity pay. The work Schedule will include 12-hour shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Applicants must have a minimum of 60 credit hours from an accredited college, or a combination of relatable work experience. Must be certified or certifiable as a Police Officer in the State of Michigan. Preference will be given to applicants with both Police and Fire certifications. Lastly, the candidate will have to achieve at least a MFR (Medical First Responder) license...
