Cadillac Police Department: Police Officer Closing Date: April 30, 2024

The City of Cadillac and its Civil Service Commission are accepting applications for full-time Police Officer. The Commission will conduct examinations and establish an eligibility list used to fill vacancies, per Act 78 of 1935. Exam date and details will be provided to eligible candidates. 

Requirements at time of application: minimum 18 years of age, HS diploma or equivalent, valid driver's license and MCOLES licensed or licensable. Applicants must pre-register by submitting an Employment Application and MCOLES Waiver. Applications accepted until all vacancies are filled.  Non-certified applicants who are interested in sponsorship through an Academy may also be considered.

Applications and Waiver are available at or at the aforementioned address. Starting pay for certified officers is $25.89 - $28.03 DOE with full benefits including pension. The City of Cadillac is an EOE.
