SALARY - POSITION:

DUTIES:

The City of Rose City is accepting applications from MCOLES licensed applicants for the position of Police Officer. Responsibility’s will be directing and control of traffic, write citations, patrol assigned area, enforce city ordinances, appear in court, provide service and assistance to the public as well as perform related work as assigned. Flexible schedule.

REQUIREMENTS:

Must be a US Citizen and at least 21 years of age. Must possess a valid Michigan driver’s license and have a high school diploma or equivalent. May not have any felony or other criminal convictions. Must submit to and pass a background investigation, physical and psychological. Must be MCOLES licensed and have prior paid law enforcement experience.

CITY DESCRIPTION:

Rose City encompasses 1.09 square miles. It is both residential and commercial and has an approximate population of 653 per the last census. Rose City is a small community ideal for those looking to retire as well as those looking for the perfect place to raise a family. Surrounded by miles of ORV trails, lakes, rivers, and forest, for those who enjoy the outdoors. Rose City offers small town life and is perfectly located close to large box stores, shopping centers and restaurants.
