The Dearborn Police Department is an Accredited Agency that employs approximately 190 sworn police personnel.  The city of Dearborn is the 7^th largest city in Michigan and employs the 4^th largest city police department in the state of Michigan.

Salary:

• Starting pay is $62,616 with a top salary of $81,679 after four years. Top salary of $92,728 with holidays and allowances.

  Lateral Transfer Program:

• Officers with 2 years of Police experience starting pay - $69,866
• Officers with 3 years of Police experience starting pay - $77,120
