The City of Hancock is accepting employment applications for a full-time Police Officer position. The city has approximately 4,500 residents and is a lakeside community in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to perform related police duties as assigned
  • Must be MCOLES licensed or licensable.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
  • Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Possess a valid Michigan Driver’s License and a good driving record. 
  • No Felony convictions.
  • Must be a United States citizen.
  • Be at least 21 years of age and able to work independently.
  • Completive wages and benefits.
