The Manistee County Sheriff’s Office is currently accepting applications for the position of Road Patrol Deputy Sheriff. Applications will be accepted until all positions are filled.
JOB DUTIES:
Road Patrol Deputies perform police functions throughout the county to enhance safety, protect life, and protect property of the citizens. Deputies enforce criminal and traffic laws, perform duties related to court functions, and assist the general public with civil matters.
EMPLOYED RECRUIT APPLICANTS:
Applicants interested in being an employed recruit do not need MCOLES certification. Employed recruits will be sponsored by our office through a law enforcement academy and will receive pay and benefits during the academy.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- 18 years of age.
- Valid Michigan Driver’s License.
- High School graduate, or equivalent.
WAGES: New hire wage
