The City of Iron River Police Department is seeking dedicated and community-oriented individuals to join our team as a full-time Police Officer. The role offers an opportunity to serve, protect and unite the City of Iron River with numerous benefits.
Minimum requirements:
- Citizen of the United States
- Be a moral and ethical person
- Valid Driver's License
- MCOLES licensed or eligible for licensing upon employment
- No felony convictions
- Must be able to pass background check and physical examination to include drug test
- Must be able to perform the essential job functions both physically and mentally of a police officer
Salary:
- 1 year experience- $28.50
- 2 years of experience- $30.72 (lateral years excepted)
- Currently in contract negotiations
