The City of Iron River Police Department is seeking dedicated and community-oriented individuals to join our team as a full-time Police Officer. The role offers an opportunity to serve, protect and unite the City of Iron River with numerous benefits.

Minimum requirements:

• Citizen of the United States
• Be a moral and ethical person
• Valid Driver's License
• MCOLES licensed or eligible for licensing upon employment
• No felony convictions
• Must be able to pass background check and physical examination to include drug test
• Must be able to perform the essential job functions both physically and mentally of a police officer

Salary:

• 1 year experience- $28.50
• 2 years of experience- $30.72 (lateral years excepted) 
• Currently in contract negotiations

• Shift details- 12 hour shifts with premium pay from 5pm-5 am
• Option for Comp time vs Overtime pay
