The Baroda-Lake Twp. Police Department is currently looking for a Fulltime Patrol Officer Licensed, Licensable, or Entry Level Recruit. Baroda-Lake Twp Police Department is located in southwest lower Michigan. We cover from the grape vineyards and farms of Baroda to shores of Lake Michigan in Lake Charter Twp.
Benefits include:
- Starting pays for Licensable or Licensable $27 to $30/hour, depending on experience. Entry Level Recruit $20 while in academy.
- Top out in pay in 5 years
- Top pay is currently $37.05 in 2024
- Once top pay is reached, the cost-of-living wage increases are determined by the Baroda-Lake Township Police Board annually.
- 4 - 10 hours a day work week.

Applicants must meet the following minimum criteria:
- Must be a United States of America citizen.
- Must possess a High School Diploma or GED.
- Can be MCOLES Licensed, Licensable, or Entry Level Recruit Must possess a valid driver's license.
- Must pass hearing/physical/vision/psychological /drug test as defined by MCOLES Must have no prior convictions for any felony, domestic violence, or substantially similar conviction.
- Must not have a Personal Protection Order or substantially similar order issued against them.
- Must refrain from the illegal use of controlled substances or use of medical marijuana.
- Must be able to work any shift on any day of the week.
