POSITION SUMMARY:
This is general duty police work position in the prevention of crime and the enforcement of both State Laws and Local Ordinances. Persons in this position shall be responsible for maintaining the quality of life for residences, businesses and guests in the 35+/- square miles of Bath Charter Township. Bath Township is located in the S/E corner of Clinton County and just north of and adjacent to both the City of East Lansing and Meridian Township. Interstate I-69 intersects our community which is a mix of residential neighborhoods, apartment complexes and a rural farming community.

*Lateral transfers accepted - “New employees having prior law enforcement experience may be given seniority for pay purposes only, which in the judgment of the Police Chief, properly reflects said employee’s value to Bath Charter Township.”
