The Lincoln Park Police Department Police Officers provide safety for the people of the City of Lincoln Park.  Lincoln Park is part of Wayne County, ideally located in southeast Michigan in an area of cities and communities known as Downriver. The city has a total area of 5.89 square miles and a diverse population of approximately 40,000 residents.

The Lincoln Park Police Department is seeking motivated, dedicated, and community-oriented individuals to join our team as Police Officers. The department is staffed with 47 sworn officers and 26 civilian employees which provide 24-hour police coverage to the City of Lincoln Park. Patrol Officers work 12-hour shifts.

As a Police Officer, you will play a critical role in maintaining public safety, enforcing laws, and building trust within the Lincoln Park community. Law enforcement duties you will be responsible for include responding to emergency and non-emergency calls, conducting investigations, arresting suspects, preparing incident reports, patrolling all areas of the city, and engaging with the community to prevent crime and enhance the quality of life in Lincoln Park.
