POSITION SUMMARY:
Reporting to the Director of Public Safety, the Clery Act Compliance Specialist serves as the campus coordinator responsible for compliance with the regulatory requirements of the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act. Working collaboratively with the Ferris State University Department of Public Safety and other campus departments, the Clery Act Compliance Specialist serves as the expert resource for all laws and regulations as outlined in the Federal Clery Act as well as laws and regulations retaining to the processing, retention, release, and disposition of department of public safety and Clery records. This position helps develop a comprehensive, “best practice” Clery Act Compliance program.
