Positions: The Mackinac County Sheriff’s Office has a full time opening and is currently accepting applications for the position of Resident-Road Patrol Deputy. Applicants are expected to pass a drug screening, background investigation and oral interview.
Pay and Benefits: Minimum starting pay from $24.09 - $28.92 an hour depending on experience plus shift premium and OT when available. No cost BC/BS health care for the employee and family, including medical/dental/vision. Longevity pay and vested retirement after 6 years that includes up to 9% employer contribution. Also, employee retirement health care with county contribution depending on years of service. Sick, vacation and personal days are also included. All uniforms, training, patrol vehicle and equipment are paid for or provided by the employer.
