The Village of Blissfield is seeking qualified candidates for two (2) full-time police officers to join our team. The successful candidate must possess good moral character, sound judgment, excellent temperament, and a positive and professional demeanor with all persons. The Village of Blissfield is approximately 2.25 square miles and has approximately 3,350 residents. Blissfield Police Officers maintain a close relationship with our businesses and residents. We police our community by addressing small issues before they become big issues. This means that we pay attention to and address the issues that are important to our community even when they may not be traditional law enforcement matters. The ability and desire to interact on a personal level with others is critical for the success of a Blissfield Police Officer and the Blissfield Police Department.
