POSITION SUMMARY:
The Village of Dundee is located off US-23 in Monroe County and is located within a 30-minute drive from Ann Arbor, MI and Toledo, OH.
The Dundee Police Department is seeking a motivated individual to join our team. The candidate should be willing to protect the lives and property of the community, reduce crime and enhance the safety of the public and to do so with integrity, honor, and respect.
Patrol officers conduct general patrols, regulate traffic, protect life, property and prevent criminal activity; assist at traffic accident scenes, medical emergencies and fire emergencies; investigate criminal activities by obtaining and compiling information regarding those crimes; prepare cases to file appropriate charges, testify in court and related activities and carry out duties in the conformance with state law and village and county ordinances.
This position requires substantial contact with the public, court officials, government officials and other law enforcement agencies in the performance of their duties.
