FPIA Board Members

The Michigan Farm Produce Insurance Authority, created by PA 198 of 2003, as amended, is a 10-member (8-voting) board, representing farmers, grain industry, feed and banking interests and has the responsibility of establishing, administering and promoting the Farm Produce Insurance Fund. MDARD Director Gordon Wenk is Chair and a non-voting member. The Department has auditing and regulatory oversight responsibilities at grain elevators in Michigan. Other Board members are:
