The West Central Spring Horticulture Day is a yearly meeting targeted for fruit growers covering research updates from the MSUE researchers for insect and disease control, updates on advanced technology spray systems in orchards, using drones to hone in on cherry crop yield, food safety, MAEAP and regenerative agriculture. This year's program also features both an indoor presentation and an outdoor demonstration on precision agriculture in tree fruit systems. The meeting will be held at the West Central Michigan Research and Extension Center, 5185 N. Oceana Dr., Hart, MI 49420 from 8:30-3;30. To register, email Kathy Walicki at walicki@msu.edu or call the Oceana County Extension Office at 231-873-2129.
