MICHIGAN CIVIL RIGHTS COMMISSION HEARING –

DISCRIMINATION IN MICHIGAN’S K-12 SCHOOLS

 

Monday, July 23, 3:00 pm at Grand Traverse Resort, Tower Ballroom

100 Grand Traverse Village Blvd., Williamsburg, MI

Public comment taken at approximately 6:30 pm

The Commissioners are specifically interested in testimony on issues affecting rural students, students experiencing homelessness and students from migrant/seasonal farmworker families.

Those who need mobility, visual, hearing, foreign language, written and/or other assistance for effective participation may request an accommodation, call 800-482-3604 or e-mail at MDCR-INFO@michigan.gov at least 7 business days prior to the hearing. ASL Interpreters and CART Services have been secured for Deaf and Hard of Hearing individuals. The building is accessible and parking is free.
