CISM Program for Traumatic Incidents
The State of Michigan offers specialized Critical Incident Stress management (CISM) services for those employees who are impacted by traumatic grief incidents in the workplace. Examples include on-site employee deaths, employee suicide and homicide, and responding to deaths at work. Grief situations that do not fall under the scope of the CISM Program can be handled by consultation and resources through ESP.
