Level 3 Assessment

Level 3 - Post-training testing or observations measure whether an employee/trainee is applying new knowledge, skills or attitude on the job.

This level must be completed outside of the classroom after the employee/trainee has had an opportunity to use what they have learned. This level is more difficult because it requires the facilitor/trainer/supervisor/evaluator to follow-up with the employee/trainee several months after training. Post-testing or observations often include performance appraisals/evaluations, a review of logs or diaries, and observer narratives.
