Using Data to Inform Instruction and Leadership Action Team
Data (from assessments or other sources) is useful when it’s available to teachers and leaders to inform instruction and decision-making, and when those individuals are prepared to use data in that context. This action team focuses on how Michigan’s ESSA plan can include specific emphasis on formative assessment, data literacy, and using data in new ways to support educators and students.
