Head Start State Collaboration
Head Start State Collaboration
The Head Start-State Collaboration Office (HSSCO) is to support and strengthen partnership and connections between Head Start agencies and other state and local programs and services for children identified as low income, birth to age five, and their families. The HSSCO assists in the development of early childhood systems, including equitable access to comprehensive services; integration with appropriate programs and services; and Heat Start representation in policy and planning efforts related to children and families enrolled in Head Start and other families living in poverty.
