WIC Helps Moms & Babies with Breastfeeding

Rocket Scientist What Do I feed my baby?

Choosing how to feed your baby is one of the most important decisions you make as a new parent. Breastfeeding is a gift that only you can give to your baby. You will provide a healthy start for your baby's life.

WIC helps moms and babies with breastfeeding.

Breastfeeding is the most natural, healthy, and loving gift a mother can give to her baby. Mother's milk has everything a baby needs to grow and stay healthy.

  • WIC provides answers to breastfeeding questions. Breastfeeding help is available at your local WIC clinic or in your home from a breastfeeding peer counselor.
  • WIC helps Moms to continue to breastfeed when moms go back to work or school.  Breastfeeding mothers can even receive a FREE breast pump to use from WIC!

WIC Moms who are breastfeeding can receive a food package for up to one year.

Each month, a fully breastfeeding mother can receive:
