Conference On Child Safety

The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services is hosting a one day conference, free of charge, for both public and private agency child welfare staff.

Where: Kellogg Hotel & Conference Center . 219 S. Harrison Rd.. East Lansing, MI 48824


This conference will feature both keynote presentations as well as breakout sessions specifically related to child safety at all stages of intervention. The overall goal of the conference is to increase caseworker and supervisor knowledge regarding assessment, engagement and intervention as it relates to child safety. Please note that while this conference is free of charge, travel and accommodation costs are the responsibility of the attendee.

Registration for this conference will begin at 8am, and the conference will close at 4:30pm. Attendees are expected to attend the entire day to receive in-service training credit.
