Creating Confident Caregivers® is a six-week program for family caregivers of persons with dementia who are living at home. It uses the Savvy Caregiver program, designed to provide knowledge, skills, and information to improve caregiving for both the caregiver and the person with dementia.
Since its launch in 2008, the program has helped more than 6,500 caregivers of persons with dementia.
The program is free for eligible participates, but space is limited.
Caregivers may take classes from any of the program partners listed below.
The Area Agencies on Aging listed below meet the standards for providing this evidence-based program and should be contacted to receive more information or to register for upcoming classes. The program's class schedule can be found here.
