February 9, 2026: Attention Hospice Providers: MDHHS has identified Hospice claims with dates of service October 2021 to current that were reimbursed with the incorrect reduction factor. Claims have been identified and will be adjusted by MDHHS to allow the claims to process under the correct reduction factor.
Providers will begin to see adjusted claims starting with Pay Cycle 10; RA date 2/26/2026. The adjusted claims can be identified with the claim note “reduction factor update”.
