Domestic Violence Hotline
Michigan's Domestic Violence Hotline
Domestic violence causes significant and long-lasting trauma to countless individuals and families. Abusers use a pattern of physical, emotional, sexual, psychological, and/or economic manipulation and control over their intimate partners to violate their dignity, security, and wellbeing. Survivors of domestic violence are present in every Michigan community, regardless of sexual orientation, race, religion, ability, age, and gender identity.
If you or a loved one has experienced domestic violence, help is available for you. Michigan’s Domestic Violence Hotline – 1-866-VOICEDV – is a free and confidential resource for victims to call, text or chat. No matter the time – day or night – calls, texts, and chats are answered by trained advocates who can provide you with crisis support and connect you with counseling, services, and resources in your area.
