Serving Greater Lansing since 1972, the Capital Area Transportation Authority (CATA) was formed under Act 55 (Public Acts of Michigan 1963). CATA provides public transportation services throughout Ingham County and in portions of Eaton and Clinton counties. The authority’s governmental municipalities include the cities of Lansing and East Lansing, and Delhi, Lansing and Meridian townships. CATA operates more than 30 fixed routes, including 24/7 campus service to Michigan State University during fall and spring semesters, demand-response service for persons with disabilities, and a variety of advance-reservation, curb-to-curb transportation options throughout our service area. CATA’s Clean Commute Options program provides clean alternatives to driving and educates the community about the importance of air quality in the tri-county region.
|Days/Hours of Operations:||CATA service hours vary by service type. Customers should call for more detailed information.|
