Obtaining a permit to trim around a billboard is a 2 step process. You must first submit a Billboard Survey Individual application. Once that permit is received, a survey shall be completed to identify what will be trimmed. The next step is to submit a Billboard Vegetation Removal/Trimming Individual Application, in which the information gathered by the survey is submitted to MDOT for approval.
