Public meeting next week in Grant for M-37 signal upgrades

The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) is hosting a project meeting to review plans for this year's traffic signal modernization at M-37 and State Road in Grant. MDOT officials will provide project details, scheduling and traffic information. The public is invited to stop by anytime during the meeting to learn more about the project and provide comments.

Work includes replacing the existing traffic signal with a modernized box span signal, as well as upgrades to the pedestrian crossing. MDOT will need to acquire a very small right-of-way parcel from a property eligible for listing on the National Register of Historic Places to accommodate the safety improvements.
