Beginning on Monday, July 8, crews will reduce traffic on eastbound M-59 to two lanes over the Clinton River, from Utica Road to Van Dyke Avenue.
Also on July 8, M-53 will be reduced to one lane in each direction over 27 Mile Road; 27 Mile Road will be reduced to one lane of alternating traffic under M-53 at this time.
Concrete patch work on southbound M-53 will take place on weekends from 34 Mile Road to 27 Mile Road, with one lane open.
This bridge work and roadway concrete repairs will prevent further deterioration and extend their service life of the structures.
