Pavement work on segment one of I-75 modernization project in Oakland County begins Tuesday, Oct. 16

October 15, 2018 -- The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) has identified ride quality issues on a portion of segment one of the I-75 modernization project in Oakland County and is requiring the contractor to repave that portion of the freeway at the contractor’s expense. This segment of I-75 reopened to traffic in September 2017.

During this repair work, crews will close one lane of southbound I-75 from South Boulevard to Adams Road from 8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 16, until Sunday evening, Oct. 21.
