This work will require single-lane closures in each direction through July. A two-day full closure of the bridge is expected, weather permitting, in February or March; that date will be announced in advance of the work.
The following full closures and detours for each bound are expected; these dates are subject to change dependent on the progression of work.
- Eastbound M-25 will be closed and detoured via M-13, M-84 (Salzburg Avenue), and northbound M-84 (Garfield Avenue). This detour is expected from April 17 to May 15.
- Westbound M-25 will be closed and detoured via southbound M-84 (Washington Avenue), westbound M-84 (Salzburg Avenue), and M-13. This detour is expected May 16 to June 5.
This work will address pavement repairs and electrical and mechanical upgrades to improve functionality of the bridge.
