MDOT staff and consultants will share project details on the upcoming replacement of the French Road and Concord Avenue overpasses above I-94. This work, part of the I-94 modernization project in Detroit, is expected to begin in March and end in November.
The I-94 modernization project will improve safety and mobility by modernizing roughly 7 miles of I-94 between Conner Avenue and I-96. Included in the modernization is utility and bridge replacement, improvements to freeway interchanges, and construction of an additional freeway lane. Additional project information is available at www.i94detroit.org.
In addition, MDOT staff will be available to discuss Michigan Mobility 2045 (MM2045), a collaborative effort to provide the public and key stakeholders an opportunity for engaging in establishing transportation priorities for the next 25 years.
