The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) will detour westbound M-25 to accommodate the ongoing structural repairs. This work is part of an overall $2.7 million investment in repairs to the M-25 (Veteran’s Memorial Bridge) bascule bridge. Work includes concrete deck patching, steel repairs, and electrical and mechanical improvements.

April 16 through mid-May westbound M-25 will detoured via southbound M-84 (Washington Avenue/Garfield Avenue), westbound M-84 (Lafayette Avenue)/M-13 (Salzburg Avenue), northbound M-13 (Euclid Avenue), back to westbound M-25.
Motorists should expect a single-lane closure on eastbound M-25 during this time.
This work will address pavement repairs and electrical and mechanical upgrades to improve functionality of the bridge.
