PROJECT:
The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) will invest about $510,000 to perform preventive maintenance and repair work on the westbound Trowbridge Road ramp to eastbound I-496 in Ingham County.
This work is the second and final stage of this project. Stage 2 involves closing the westbound Trowbridge Road ramp to eastbound I-496 7 a.m.-7 p.m. Monday-Saturday from July 22 to Aug. 23. This work is being done during the daytime for worker safety.

TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS:
During the ramp closures, traffic will be detoured to Pennsylvania Avenue (Exit 7) to eastbound I-496.
SAFETY BENEFITS:
Performing regular maintenance on bridges helps improve and extend the service life of these structures. Closing lanes during this type of work is necessary to provide the safest work area possible for crews and motorists.
