PROJECT:
The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) is removing the Sheridan Road skywalk over Old US-27 in Lansing. The structure has reached the end of its service life and will not be replaced. There are existing crosswalks both below the structure and in the northern part of the intersection to accommodate pedestrians crossing Old US-27.

TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS:
The Old US-27/Sheridan Road intersection will be closed during structure removal.

Closing the intersection during this type of work is necessary to provide the safest work area possible for crews and motorists.
