The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) will complete structural repairs to the ramps at the I-75/I-69 interchange. This work is part of an overall $1 million investment in structural repairs to 12 bridges across Genesee and Lapeer counties. Work includes repairs to expansion joints, concrete patching to the bridge substructures, and steel repairs.

The following ramp closures are expected:
- Northbound I-75 ramp to eastbound I-69, closed Aug. 19 - 29
- Southbound I-75 ramp to eastbound I-69, closed Sept. 3 - 10
- This work will require a single-lane closure on Ballenger Highway
This work is weather dependent. Motorists should follow the posted detour via westbound I-69, Bristol Road, and eastbound I-69. All ramps are expected to be open for the CRIM and Labor Day weekend travel.
This work will repair critical bridge components necessary to extend the life of the infrastructure.
