I-69/Miller Road interchange lane closures for bridge maintenance in Genesee County start Sept. 10

PROJECT:
The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) will complete structural repairs to the bridges at the I-69/Miller Road interchange. This work is part of an overall $1 million investment in structural repairs to 12 bridges across Genesee and Lapeer counties. Work includes repairs to expansion joints, concrete patching to the bridge substructures, and steel repairs.

TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS:
The following closures are expected:

  • Single-lane closures on eastbound and westbound I-69,
  • The Miller Road ramp will be closed to eastbound I-69 when the eastbound I-69 right lane is closed, and
  • A single-lane closure on Miller Road.

This work is weather dependent. Motorists should follow the posted detour via westbound I-69, Bristol Road, and eastbound I-69.
