I-75 Road and Bridge Repairs, Oakland County
Investment: $21 million
The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) is investing $21 million to repair 21 bridges on I-75 between South Boulevard and Baldwin Road, and resurface 5.5 miles between South Boulevard and Giddings Road. The work includes resurfacing the ramps at Chrysler Drive and M-24.
Double-lane closures, with two lanes open in each direction via traffic shifts, should be expected on I-75 at all times. Both directions of I-75 will be reduced to one lane each on nights and weekends only.
Expect ramp and local road closures with detours for bridge repair.
