Every Day Counts (EDC) - An MDOT / FHWA Partnership
Every Day Counts is a national initiative to accelerate project delivery through project streamlining and technology implementation. The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) along with the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), Local Public Agencies and tribal transportation agencies own the MI transportation system and make key decisions on how to deliver projects, as well as what techniques and technologies to use in the operation and safety on our highway system. The Michigan State Transportation Innovation Council (MI-STIC) can bring together stakeholders that represent all those market forces and work together to lead innovation in their state transportation program.
