Todd Wyett

Chairman

Chairman Todd Wyett, (I) of Charlevoix, was appointed by Governor Rick Snyder in December 2010 and reappointed in 2013 and 2016.  Mr. Wyett was appointed Chair for the Commission by Governor Snyder on December 22, 2015. Mr. Wyett was re-appointed Chair for the Commission by Gretchen Whitmer on December 22, 2019.

Mr. Wyett is the co-founder and CEO of Versa Development, LLC, and its predecessor company, Touchstone Corp., and has developed industrial, commercial and multi-family residential properties in Michigan valued at an excess of $200 million. He formerly served as chairman of the State Waterways Commission and as a member of the executive board of the Michigan Economic Development Corporation. He chaired the Lyon Township (Oakland County) Downtown Development Authority from 1995 to 2005, and served on the Transportation Committee of the Oakland County Business Roundtable in 2000 and 2001. He has served on the Oakland County Sheriff’s Advisory Council since 2001. Mr. Wyett received his law degree from The Georgetown University Law Center in 1991. He was the vice president, general counsel and secretary of Arbor Drugs, Inc., a public drugstore chain in Michigan, from 1993 to 1995.

Mr. Wyett’s current term will expire on December 21, 2022.
