Eastbound I-94 traffic shift on remaining lanes starts Wednesday night in Jackson

The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) will complete the shift of eastbound I-94 traffic from Lansing Avenue to Elm Avenue to the newly constructed lanes. This shift is will accommodate continuing lane reconstruction. This work is part of the ongoing I-94 Corridor Project.

Crews will begin to shift traffic on the newly constructed eastbound lanes as weather and traffic patterns allow through project completion. Delays are expected - an alternate route is advised.
This work will provide a smoother driving surface, increased safety and mobility along I-94, which is a significant local, national and international trade corridor.
